Previously, I was the Senior Systems Administrator for Mercury Communications, an Internet provision and consulting firm in Jonesville, FL. Mercury finally gave up the ISP gig, and is now in the CLEC business (almost). Their new identity is Maxcess, Inc. I don’t actually do any work for them any more, but I wish them well. In December of 2005 I spent part of a day searching the Internet for any of the former management of Maxcess, Inc. I couldn’t find hide ‘nor hair of any of them. Apparently Maxcess was purchased by another company, which makes me wonder if my stock is worth anything.
